Sheen Green

My name Sheen Green derives from past history in middle school. I was teased due to my last name, but it followed me out of high school into my life now. I’ve only had two fist fights in my entire life, but I wish I could have set more boundaries and outlooks on my personal image. I’ve done The redneck brawl out of a passion for the love of fighting but I always hated the animosity it brought. My mother trained in karate & jujitsu and was named for the toughest man award. But she was also listed as a scary woman to never buck up to. I’m rewriting a story that reminds not only women but men, that any fighting sport comes with being a humble individual. You go into fighting with passion and determination rather than anger and frustration from an issue. I fight for equality and to show that everyone can have their faults and losses, but it’s to show that you can pick up what you put down and carry it to build something beautiful from an aspect where most of us see what’s bad can never be seen as good. I’ve made family out of my brawl family and they are held close to my heart. Getting the courage to put yourself out there is HARD, no matter if we are told it won’t go anywhere! The sheen will be seen and heard! I want to make an impact on a wide community of people who want to see the same change in the fighting industry!
